NVMHI - Art Therapist Job Opportunity

NVMHI is looking for an individual to plan and provide art/expressive therapy services, through groups and individualized programming, for patients diagnosed with chronic mental illness. The successful candidate will have knowledge of principles, practices and modalities of an expressive therapy; have the ability to stimulate and sustain interests of patients in activities; and have the ability to work collaboratively other employees, students, and volunteers.

Graduation from an accredited college or university with major studies in an expressive therapy field required. Experience working with mentally ill individuals in a clinical setting as an Expressive Therapist or intern preferred. Certification/registration as an expressive therapist preferred.
