Creative Arts Therapist (Per Diem)
YWCA - A Child's View, Westfield, NJ

The YWCA of Eastern Union County, NJ is seeking creative arts therapists (Per Diem) for their PALS Program, A Child's View.

Job Description:
The Creative Arts Therapist is a direct service position that has responsibility for the provision of creative arts therapy within the YWCA EUC's PALS program. Peace: A Learned Solution (PALS) is a creative-arts based program designed to heal and empower children who have witnessed domestic violence. The areas of focus are creative arts work, intake and assessment, parent education, community education, and documentation.

Qualifications:
Must posses a Master's in Creative Arts Therapy or equivalent (Art, Dance, Drama, Play, or Music Therapy). Board Certified strongly preferred. Must have experience with counseling and/or clinical experience. Experience with children, domestic violence, and/or trauma survivors strongly preferred. Bi-lingual/ bi-cultural a substantive plus. Excellent verbal and written skills.
